Since I was a child, I’ve always loved New York City. The movie Home Alone was a favorite of mine, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles called it home – it just seemed like the place to be. Now, I’m still just as enamored by the city that never sleeps and the world’s most complicated subway system.

When Forrest Gump was sitting on that park bench, he was in a little Georgia town called Savannah. When Forrest Gump was being filmed, I was living in a little Georgia town called Savannah. Besides being one of my favorite movies, it’s definitely one of the best films made during my lifetime.

Johnny Depp has played a wide variety of very different and usually very strange characters. I’d see him in just about any movie with a few exceptions – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is basically a horror movie for children and I can’t watch it, and I can’t correctly pronounce Chocolat without laughing, so I won’t be seeing that one either.

This painting was originally created to be auctioned at the 2009 Switchfoot Bro-Am. Tony Gwynn is everyone’s favorite San Diegan. My friend Junior and his family invited me to Tony Gwynn’s final game at Qualcomm and I still remember being blown away by all of his accomplishments on the field and now that I’m older, I’m paying more attention to all of his contributions off the field as well.
