DRAWGASMIC in ST. LOUIS

I am showing a piece at Drawgasmic, a show taking place in St. Louis tomorrow night, July 10th, 7pm to 1am at 2720 Gallery. The show features the work of 1000 different international artists, and each of the artists submitted a single 8.5×11 piece done in our own style to be tiled over the walls of the entire gallery. Should be a very cool show if you’re in the area.

BASIC TUESDAYS: WEAPONS OF MASS PRODUCTION

This Tuesday, July 13th, I will be showing a few pieces in the second installment of Weapons of Mass Production at Bar Basic, located at 410 Tenth Ave (right at the corner of Tenth & K), downtown San Diego. The show goes from 7pm to midnight so come by and have a few beers with me and the rest of the artists.

STUDENT AWARD EXHIBITION AND THAT’S NOT ALL FOLKS!

The Student Award Exhibition and That’s Not All Folks went down on this past Tuesday, March 23rd. Both shows went very well and I ended up showing a few pieces in That’s Not All Folks, which was organized and put together by Eric Whitman, who deserves a lot of credit for all the work he put in. YMCA BENEFIT AT THUMBPRINT GALLERY

From March 6-10th, I participated in Thumbprint Gallery’s monthly fundraiser show. In March, the show benefitted the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign and will benefit a different organization each month. I contributed WRHWK to the show. Thanks for everyone who stopped by to check it out!

WEAPONS OF MASS PRODUCTION AT THUMBPRINT GALLERY

I participated in a group show at Thumbprint Gallery called Weapons of Mass Production that was on display for a few weeks at their location in North Park. SWITCHFOOT BRO-AM 2009

2009broamsurfboardI participated in the 5th annual Switchfoot Bro-Am auction event on June 25, 2009, contributing the signed Tony Gwynn painting and painted a brand new surfboard contributed by Quiver BoardWorks. I also worked on a 20ft x 8ft mural at the beach during the surf competition and concert on Saturday, June 27th. All of the proceeds from the auction benefitted StandUp for Kids.

broam02While the Switchfoot Bro-Am surf competition was taking place and bands were playing on the beach, Austin Blasingame, Ekundayo , Tanner Goldbeck and myself were killing a 20 ft wall to raise money for StandUp for Kids. The mural was sponsored by the Glue Network.

LOYOLA MARYMONT HEALTHY BODY WEEK

marians_healthybody I designed a series of stencils for Loyola Marymount University’s Marians/Kappa Sigma Healthy Body Week. I delivered the stencil and the participants each used the stencil to spray their own shirts. The stencil is two layers, with a green base layer and an option of one of three slogans. 60-70 shirts were painted.
