My friend Deedrah is a phenomenally talented actress. Admittedly, I’m really not crazy about musicals but she can make just about any role interesting to me. To many, Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz is the role that really personifies her. This was the second stencil I made and painted.

This was the first stencil I designed with the intention of hanging it on the wall at my house. I really had no idea what I was doing and the stencil design was just terrible – it came out cool, but didn’t hold up very long and was a pain to paint, so I used it twice and was so frustrated with it that I balled it up and threw it away.
