Until fairly recently, I never really cared about football. At the constant urging of many of my friends, I slowly began to pay more and more attention to football. You can now find me planted on my couch and glued to the television on Sundays during the fall and winter watching the Chargers.

I’ve always thought zebras were some of the coolest looking animals. They’re basically horses that were upgraded with better patterns – and unfortunately, the most boring colors. I guess you can’t win them all. If I could reinvent the zebra, this is what it would look like.

The Del Mar racetrack is about 10 minutes directly west of where I grew up in San Diego. Every summer, I always look forward to the food at the San Diego County Fair right about the time that school gets out, shortly followed by the start to the Del Mar race season.

This is an hand-painted, original San Diego skyline painting from stencils I designed and cut. It is painted only with spray paint on a medium texture stretched canvas. I do not sell prints, everything i sell is hand painted from my original stencils. This painting is signed by me, unframed, dated and numbered in the order the edition is created.

I have a soft spot for immature bathroom jokes (who doesn’t?). Thus, blink-182 has been my favorite band for way too long. blink-182 helped create a new genre of music and were a constant favorite in the late 90′s and early 2000′s. Travis Barker’s unique style as well as my personal love for his music made him a perfect choice for a spray paint portrait.

This painting was originally a commission by a customer, then another customer suggested the “Tiffany blue” background. The original pink version is available here. However, it is numbered in the same series as AUDREY_TFFNY.
